Hope for You!




I talked this Summer about my friend that had her first baby at 44. Lisa and Abby Kate came to see us one day this week. We love Abby Kate. She LOVES my girls. She is such a smiley baby, but everytime the camera would flash, she would stop smiling.
I hope Lisa can be an encouragement to those of you who want a family so bad, but have not met Mr. Right yet. Lisa got married when she was 42. You do have hope and a LOT to look forward to!!!!!

God's timing is so perfect! Although... in my earthly sense I look at your friend and think "she's gorgeous! why was she single so long" ... but I know the truth is that God had this season ordained for her long before she came to be... and I know that some of us marry young (and subsequently go thru divorce and single parenting) because we don't wait for God's season of time for us. My young nieces ask me if I will ever get married again and I answer, "only if it's God's choice for me". But my honest heart answer is that this is a different season of time for me, too, and He planned for me to be single to be used just for such a time as this. There is always hope but sometimes we need to move to the answer HE has for us. *hugs*
