I am so thankful to be a mother and to have a wonderful Christian mother and mother in law. As our pastor said this morning, "being raised in a Christian home is more than just going to church, it is the way things are when you are in the house with no one looking, how you live day in and day out." My mother has been an example of living and responding to life in a Christ-like way. I know Steve's mom has been the same way.
I want to raise my girls to love the Lord and be kind to others. I also want to teach them to make good decisions in life.
Years ago, I went to a Women of Faith conference and one of the speakers summed up life like this:
"It's always something."
"Well, you never know."
"If its not one thing, it's another."
That is kind of how I feel with these little girls I have.
I am so very very thankful for them and love them more than I ever thought I could!!!!!
Here I am with my 3rd child, Harper Stamps. Ha! I feel like she is part mine. Ha! I always am telling Kelly," she really seems to like me!"
These are the flowers that Sarah Kate and Emily sent me. Beautiful! I told Steve that I did not want a THING for Mother's Day. He told me that Emily and Sarah Kate had gotten these flowers for me.
Emily got me this crown in church today. I love it!
Sarah Kate loves to "get" Emily and laugh and laugh.
Judy Stamps, Scott's Mom, with Sarah Kate.
Kelly with her Mom and Harper. Kelly had us over for lunch today. It is sooooooooooooo good!!!!! Everything was so nice and pretty!
