The Weekend

This past weekend I had my college friend, Kim come and visit. Kim is one of the most kind and wise people I have ever known. She could also be a professional comedian. She is so funny. I just look at her and start laughing. Kim has a foster baby right now who is the same age as Sarah Kate. It was so fun to have another baby in the house. I busted out this Bumbo seat for the babies this weekend. I love it and so does Sarah Kate. She looks like a little woman sitting in it.
Sarah Kate was 3 months on Sunday so I took the girls to get their pictures made yesterday. I was pretty pleased with how they turned out. I just had to share this black and white. It was the best!

SK looks so big sitting in the bumbo. I wish they had made those when ya'll were babies. Kelly would have loved it...sittin' up and lookin' around like a big girl!

That B&W portrait of the girls is perfect--I love it!

Alexee liked her Bumbo seat, too--it was a big help for a while until she figured out how to wiggle out of it.
I'm so glad you posted the B&W photo...it is ADORABLE!!!

It excites me to hear that you have a friend with a foster baby! Is this her first placement or has she fostered other children. I am always on the lookout for other really good foster parents! (:
Also...it looks like Sarah Kate has the same crib as D. I LOVE it!!! My husband's sister gave it to us when she was finished using it with her two children. There are pictures of it on my recent post about the nursery makeover that took place in our house. (:
