Power of Prayer

My mother gave us a terrible scare a couple of weeks ago with a bad report on a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound.  When she asked the diagnostic radiologist if it was cancer, he replied, "I do."  Those were NOT encouraging or comforting words to hear.
She had a biopsy Monday and PRAISE the LORD Jesus,  NO CANCER!!!!!!  I don't think we have ever been so relieved!
She had many people praying for her.  We are so thankful for the prayers, concern and kind words from so many.
While we are so relieved and thrilled, it makes me so mindful of people that are going through terrible sickness.  I am going to pray for the people at the oncology office near my house, everytime I pass by.

Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers!!!!

I rejoice for you Mom and all you who love her.

I do the same for our children's hospital, each time I drive by, say a prayer for the children, their families and the hospital folks looking after them. I believe it makes a difference.

my best friend's mom had a biopsy monday as well. she is supposed to know the results by tomorrow. a lot of women in her family have had breast cancer so they are trying not to freak out. will you pray for linda and her family?

WONDERFUL news, I was thinking about your Mom and you and praying. So glad the news came back with no cancer. BIG hugs to you. It must have been so hard to deal with that and the wait is even harder. God Bless you all. All my love.

Laurie, Thanks for your comment on my blog. Linda's biopsy was positive for cancer. She goes Monday for full details and could possibly start chemo next week. Everyone is really sad and shocked, but believing in the Lord for a fast recovery. The doctor was very positive about her situation. Thanks for your prayers.
