Glasses and Such

My girls LOVE glasses.  I don't know what the fascination is, but they always pick up my reading glasses and go look at themselves in the mirror.  I started wearing glasses when I was three, it is NOT that fun, girls!  I think SK looks like Mrs. Doubtfire in these.
My best gift to myself this year:  a Pottery Barn robe from the PB outlet store in Memphis.  It is money well spent.  The girls always say, "you are so soft and cozy."  Best robe I have ever had!!!!

Thank you for the helpful tips about Caroline's hair.  I am so glad I mentioned that.

Also, the Bible cover came from a store in Camden, Ar.

It seems like the kids who don't have glasses really want them. There are a few girls at my church who are always wearing fake glasses. I've had them since I was nine and am in the "not good eyesight is a pain" camp.

She is so pretty...beautiful skin!! Amelia loves wearing my Mom's reading glasses. I may have to find some glasses without script for her soon. LOL

Wait, aren't you the one with the infamous colored robe?! I just got a new one, too...hoping the waffle style will trick me into thinking I live at the spa. :)

I think all kids like glasses. My Axle wears my Mommy's every time she comes around.

Laurie, I would like to send you a local magazine that has the Mississippi roast in it! It is even labeled "Laurie's Mississippi roast" and mentions I got the recipe from a "blogger named Laurie." I am friends with the editor of this local quarterly magazine for area women and she needed recipes for this issue. If you would like to send me an address you can email me at candisberge@hotmail.com and I will mail you the sweet little magazine.
