Five Dollar Fun

I registered Sarah Kate for Kindergarten this week.  A bittersweet day for sure.

Emily had a little cold/congestion last weekend.  This weekend, she got an ear infection.  Now that their tubes are out, they seem to get lots of ear infections.  We made a trip to the pediatrician on Saturday morning.

While we were waiting at the pharmacy to get the presciption filled, I spotted a Melissa and Doug sticker pad.  I knew this was right up my girl's alley.  I hardly ever buy them something for no reason, but this was too neat to pass up and it was $5.  It was a good buy!!! They have had a lot of fun with it!  Plus it does not make a mess or take up much space!

So cute!  They also had some that were "make a face."  They had them for boys that were "make a pirate."

I hope Emily is feeling better. Amelia's tubes are out now too and she has gotten double ear infections already. I'm wondering if tubes will be in our future again. Love Melissa & Doug toys. Amelia would love that...she's all about some stickers!

My youngest starts kindergarten this fall, too! So weird!!! I love giving gifts for no reason that just delight the kids! You must have been mom of the year to them! :)

Hope Emily is feeling better! I love the M&D stuff, and we have the sticker pad with earrings, necklaces, etc and it's so cute! Since I'm a nail blogger too, I would love to find the nail one for my daughter! Off to look for it!

Have you ever heard of an essential oil called Melaluca? It's also known as tea tree oil. The daughter of a friend of mine used to have tubes. After they came out she was still getting ear infections. The doctor wanted to put tubes back in. That's when she was introduced to Melaluca essential oil. Whenever her daughter now gets an ear infection she puts the oil around her ear a few times that day, and usually by the next day the infection is gone. You can look more into the essential oil here: www.essentialus.com Check it out and see if that is something that is good for your family.
