Butterflies

For Sarah Kate's Birthday, my parents got her a live butterfly habitat.  They have loved it!!!  It started out as caterpillars and then formed cocoons.  We have loved watching the transformation.

        Another family member loves the butterflies too!  TOO MUCH!  She is finding herself locked up when we are not home.  Cats will be cats.

How fun! Yep, all of our cats are outside/barn cats though so they always go after the butterflies and moths and any other insect.

OMG! When my kids were younger we did that every year! I think I was more into it than the kids were. So much fun! Hope its not to hot for you yet. I'm in NY and we are having weird weather. Last week was 100 now this a.m. it was 56. Hello....can we just meet in the middle and have 80's! ha ha. Can't wait to see them hatch.

We did that, too. Jade got it for her 4th bday May 28. We had 5 butterflies hatch this week. I blogged it yesterday. So fun!

We had so much fun with these! Can't wait to be able to order them again so our youngest can watch! I think ants would be fun to watch but my luck, the thing would break and I'd have theme everywhere....maybe tadpoles would be better?
