I feel like we have had the house of sickness lately. Last Tuesday night, Emily got REALLY sick.....like 104.2 fever kind of sick. I just knew it was strep. We saw the Dr. on Wednesday and he tested her for strep and it came back negative. He said that she had a virus that was causing the sore throat and fever. She was down for about three days. She got well on Friday and SK got sick on Saturday. I was getting SK ready for a birthday party and she began crying and not being herself at all. I took her temperature and it was 102. She was just pitiful acting. She groaned and cried for 48 hours. I took her to the Dr yesterday, thinking she had the same thing as Emily but she had an ear infection. That explained the waking up EVERY hour for two nights. She is on an antibiotic now and seems back to normal.
I made a little stop by the store after the Dr visit yesterday and got these pretty flowers to go on our kitchen table. I needed some cheer!
