Good Ending to a Long Week

Sweet Kelly kept Sarah Kate for me today and she would not nap. I put her to bed at 6:30 tonight and this is how I found her at 6:35. I think she was tired! Ya think?
I had a root canal and I think I am am new woman. I am sooooo happy to be out of PAIN! The pain medicine that he gave me on Monday made me sick sick sick. So, I have been taking Advil and they have not helped me much. My numbness from the shots is wearing off and I am VERY sore, but I will take sore over "can't concentrate on anything" pain!
The dentist told me he had never seen such long roots in teeth. I heard the same thing 12 years ago when I had my wisdom teeth out. I think I need to sell my teeth to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not" museum. Maybe I could get in Guinness Book of World Records.
I am hoping for some peaceful, pain free sleep tonight!

Awe! Bless her heart! I'm glad you got relief from your pain, I totally hear you about the pain killers. I can't wait until I get the all clear to switch to Advil. I've been on pain killers for 3 straight weeks with no end in sight :(

Oh bless your heart! I feel your pain! I have TERRIBLE teeth and my dentist actually told me to never get rid of dental insurance, ha! I brush all the time but I just have bad enamel. Thankfully I've only had one root canal about a year ago but I know you are glad it's over with and you can be pain free! Hope you get some good rest tonight!

I'm sorry again SK didn't nap. But at least she went right to sleep! I have enjoyed keeping her this week - she is SO easy and sweet!!!

So glad that you're feeling better! There is nothing like nerve pain and there is nothing like pain relief after feeling it intensely for too long. Best wishes for a full recovery, thank God for endodontists!
