Emily calls these kids her, "bef friends."
I hosted playgroup today! Not much to report, but I think it was a pretty fun time.
I tackled the library again this week!
My sweet friend, Jaimi, came up with a brilliant idea for library day. She has a son, Jackson, who is Emily's age. She has a daughter who is fourteen months old. She threw out the idea of one of us taking the older kids to the library and one of us staying at home and keeping the little ones and then switching the next week. I jumped on the idea!!!! A brilliant idea, that worked out perfect. I took Jackson and Emily to the library this week. They did great!!!!!!!!!!!!! They listened and participated. I was calm, cool and collected! The children's librarian really does a great job at keeping the children's attention. She is LOUD and animated. When I say loud, I mean loud. I am sure that the houses and offices around the library get to hear the story too.
Jaimi even blessed me by letting Emily stay and play with Jackson the rest of the afternoon so I could cook and clean for the guests today.

I actually went back and found your original post too about your last library trip to read what happened...hahaha. I feel your pain - my daughter is 2 and just has complete meltdowns too at the worst possible times. I actually did a post too on my blog about our library adventure too - too funny not to post.
Love your blog - your girls are just precious!
