Do you think I liked the apple cake?
It was ohhhhhhhhhh sooooooooooo GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will give you the recipe. I got this out of my old home church cookbook. It is a dandy!
Fresh Apple Cake
3 c. chopped apples
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar (I used a LITTLE more)
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cooking oil
Mix all together until dampened. Pour in large 9 inch tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 for one hour.
I added 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon.
The girls liked this cake. Steve would not have eaten it if it were the last sweet on earth. He HATES apples. Actually all fruit.
Kelly and I put our girls together for a little matching outfit photo shoot. We got some framers. It is near impossible to get them all looking at the camera and still at the same time.
Sarah Kate was saying, "Come on, Let's go!"
We took Emily and Sarah Kate to their very first movie today. Emily LOVED it! The glasses bothered her. We saw Toy Story 3! SK made it through all but the last forty minutes. She was like trying to wrestle a bear. I was determined that she could stay through the show but, she was being so WILD that I HAD to take her out. The WHOLE theater knew she was there.
Emily had her friend, Summer, over to play yesterday. These girls have been in MDO and preschool together since they were babies. Sweet Summer also goes to our church.
People often ask me if we will have another baby. I often answer with, "I am too old and too tired!" It is the truth and I am feeling it tonight. I am worn out from the picture taking and the movie going.
Night Night!

We haven't met, but I enjoy reading your blog. I live in NWA also and would love to know what dance studio you use for your girls. I'm wanting to find a place that is fun but not too "shake your booty" fun. I want to keep her a little girl! I appreciate your blog and how you show your love for our Savior! Thanks for your help- Amy
I loved looking at the photo shoot pics. When Kelly said y'all were going to do that...I'll admit that I got a smile on my face and said, "Bless your sweet hearts!" And even if they weren't ALL looking at the same time, those pics are precious and so are the girls!! Love the matching outfits. :)
Hope you had a GREAT FOURTH!
I have a fun giveaway on my holiday blog...
