I got the opportunity to go hear Kelly speaks at a local MOPS group yesterday morning. She did a wonderful job! I loved getting to hear her share. I was so proud of her.
I had lunch with my friend Tracey. Tracey has many health struggles, but it is neat to see how God is working in her life. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
Emily made this at pre-school and I thought it was so cute. She explained the sign language for thank-you and then showed me her masterpiece. I love the detail of the earrings! I thought she may have said, I am thankful for my Mama, but no....it said "my kitty." Then she explained that it was not Kristen, but Pink-a-boo. This would be the cat that spent maybe 24 hours in our home last April.
Emily went to a birthday party for her friend Isabella tonight. She had a great time.
BEDTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emily has had insomnia or something for the past two weeks. It is about to drive me and Steve CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is tired, we are tired. I don't know what the deal is. I have cut out chocolate and sugar.
But, She slept ALL NIGHT last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She got a sticker on her sticker chart this morning.
She has been waking up every two or three hours and staying awake for at least an hour each time. She says nothing hurts. She wakes up happy during the night and just says, "I'm not sleepy."
More about that wonderful roast:
This is not a recipe where you would want to add potatoes and carrots. There is just not enough juice to cook them in.
Another thing.......this roast DOES have more juice than you think it will have just from reading the recipe.

I started giving my girl a spoonful of pnut butter before bed & she has slept better since?!?! I heard protein before bed will help their adrenal system calm down & sleep better. Who knew?!
