Weekend in Atlanta

We set off to Atlanta on Friday afternoon. We flew out of the Branson airport. Here is Jennifer, Hillary, and Kelly. We had so much fun together. I needed a weekend of laughter!
Here is Kelly and Amanda ready for take off. Amanda is sooo funny. Truth is, all the girls I went with are FUNNY!
Here we are at FBC Woodstock Ga. for the So Long Insecurity conference with Beth Moore. I had the wonderful honor to meet Mandi. I have read her blog for a while now. She was so sweet.
You can probably tell, but these girls are VERY serious. HA! Jenna and Caroline! It was so great to meet them too. They are just as sweet as I thought they would be.
Here is Betsy. She is a wonderful role model to me as a Mom.

Jill and Hillary. Jill is full of laughter! She is a joy to be around.
Faith and Mandy. Faith and Mandi. Faith was our driver in Atlanta. She was so kind and a great driver.
I loved meeting many people at the conference! It makes me even more interested in blogs and blogging.
I always love to hear Beth Moore's insight and wisdom. I have learned so much from her in the past several years.

This weekend was just what I needed!

What a wonderful weekend! I wanted to go to the simulcast, but just went to a beth moore conference here in Fla. last weekend, so didnt want to leave my family 2 weekends in a row! But I've read the SLI book and loved it.
The pictures are great & I know you guys had an awesome time! A couple days with your girlfriends always does wonders! :)

It was so nice to meet you too! I wanted to get pictures with you girls and say hey on Saturday, but I was so sick feeling. I just kept to myself. I meant to ask you on Saturday but I never got the chance. Where did you get those cute silver shoes you were wearing Friday night? I LOVE them!!!!!
I'm so glad you had a good time at the conference! Blessings!

Hi Laurie, I've been following your blog for a bit now (found it through Kelly's blog) and I noticed you changed your design. I'm just starting a blog and I had chosen the same design! I'm wondering how you got your blog title to go on top to the layout and how you got the picture in that box? I'm very new to all this and any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!
Best, Jodi

I am so glad you had a wonderful time. I told Justin to tell Steve to tell you that I thought you looked great in all the pics. Glad you had fun and made it safely home.

Laurie, you were so much fun to hang out with! I replay the stories you told in my head (in your country baby voice, of course) and sit here and laugh all by myself in the privacy of my own home. HAHA!

It was a fun weekend for sure.
