Sarah Kate had a clothing meltdown this morning.  So, she used to only wear dresses.  About a year ago she started loving leggings. The tighter the leggings, the better!!!  She only wants them skin tight.  Today she put on these leggings and started crying saying they were "slobbery."  She pulled them off.  I convinced her to wear them.  She recovered and then it all started over again when she saw Emily's pants were not "slobbery."  She told me not to EVER buy her slobbery pants. So, no jeans, no clothes with words and now no "slobbery" pants.

 One of my best friends, Tracy had an over the top party for her girls Sunday afternoon.  It was such a nice party with so much thought put into it.  I don't know how she does it!  Fun for all!  Everything was so cute! Never thought I would see the day that I was riding a camel around in my friend's backyard.

Last Saturday we met up with the Stamps at a local family friendly farm.  The weather was perfect.  We all had a wonderful time! Sarah Kate held a two day old pig.  The girls always love to ride ponies.  I loved it too when I was little.  They had so much fun with these sweet little girls!  We had close encounters with cows! Feeding the cow tortillas.  Who knew they loved them?   I LOVE FALL!!!!!!!

Several months ago I posted about getting a Clarisonic facial cleanser, well, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!  I recently started using a moisterizing cleanser called Simple.  It works wonders for my face.  I am considering getting a professional facial at a dermatology office. Have you had a good experience with this? Was it worth the money? I want smaller pores and some age just wiped off.  ha!

We spent the weekend as a family in Branson.  Saturday was my parents anniversary.  We had a good time together.  I took my camera and planned to get some good pictures.  I pulled out my camera as soon as we arrived at the Branson Landing, only to discover I had left the memory card in my computer at home.  SO, no pictures to document our fun time together. I had eaten sorta light and healthy all last week in anticipation for my favorite meal ever at Cantina Laredo.  We get seated after a good little wait, I opened my menu only to discover that "the dinner"  I always order is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS ANGRY! Yep, the waiter tells me that it was taken off the menu, BUT, he said they could probably still make it for me.  They did and he got an extra tip from Steve. Yet another menu item forever removed from a menu to the locked vault of bad sellers, unwamted items. My first all time favorite meal was Shanghi Shrimp at Market Pla...

Yesterday at church the children had their choir kick-off.  They had to wear their favorite football team shirt.  I thought Emily looked really cute in her pink Razorback jersy. We went to visit my parents for Labor Day Weekend.  While we were there, we went to the Stamps farm, where Steve hunts.  We had a great time riding the ATVs and we enjoyed some of the best EVER homemade ice cream. Emily learning how to shoot the air rifle.   With lots of help from her Daddy, SK shot right through the cup!  She was so so praoud of herself.   Look how excited she is!   THRILLED!   Running inside to tell Meme.   We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. This past weekm all of our church activities have started back.  It makes for a busy week!  

I made a stop at a QT (Quick Trip).  But, my trip was not quick.  I have never ever seen so many lids.  This is all I could fit in my camera lens.  There were many more.  I have to say it stressed me out a bit.  Which lid did I need?  Everyone I was with was back in the car and buckled up and I was still trying to find the appropriate lid.  I went with the purple, super high quality lid for my tea.  Decisions, decisions. Well, we have finally gotten to a place that she will wear more than dresses.  She LOVES leggings.  Will wear shorts now and will once in a blue moon wear pants with not too much crying.  BUT, we have a new problem:  Clothes with words.  She is NOT having it.  This started about two weeks ago.  Steve picked her up from school one day this week and she came out with her backpack on her back and her hands covering up the front of this shirt.  Sh...

Saturday morning our friend Kristin was in town.  We had a wonderful time eating and visiting at Cracker Barrel.  Kristin is one of the sweetest most likeable girls you could ever meet.  So glad to have her as my friend.   I took Sarah Kate to a birthday party at Build a Bear for her friend Madaline.  She had the best time!    SK and Harper both picked cats.  Makes me laugh because Kelly can't stand cats. SK with the Birthday girl.  They got to be good friends in AWANA this year.  We ended Saturday night by going out to eat with Kelly and Scott.  We always enjoy their company!
